The Shanghai Conservatory of Music presents the second Shanghai Chamber Music Competition and Festival this month. String quartets, piano trios and classical music enthusiasts alike will gather to promote a shared multicultural experience, playing quintessential pieces from Schubert, Mozart and Haydn, among others. The festival presents some of the best chamber music ensembles from around the globe, while the competition features a cross-section of budding Shanghai talent.
