Electric Disco Carnival

This November will see music legend Nile Rodgers headlining Shanghai’s Electric Disco Carnival. Rodgers has been acknowledged as the pioneer of disco, having been the front man of 1970’s influential act, Chic, who are credited with some disco classics such as Everybody Dance, Le Freak, and, more recently, responsible for Daft Punk’s summer anthem, “Get Lucky”. Rodgers has also worked with some of music’s biggest acts ever such as Madonna, David Bowie, Bee Gees and many more. This eight hour “Live Party” will also host DJs from all over Asia on two separate stages. The Mixing Room at the Mercedes Benz Arena will host Shanghai’s Electric Disco Party with doors opening at 6pm to the first stage, the “Studio 54 Lounge”, and doors to the main stage opening at 9pm. STORM Electronic Music Festival

All residents of Shanghai, be prepared, STORM is about to hit Shanghai. Not the atmospheric disturbance which brings with it destruction, havoc and mayhem but STORM, the electronic music festival which will see some of the world’s top DJs and music acts come to Shanghai (also potentially bringing with it, destruction, havoc and mayhem!). This two day festival boasts a line up which will excite all electronic music and festival lovers with acts such as, Axwell, Benny Benassi, Fedde Le Grand, Icona Pop, Far East Movement, Jay Sean and many more. The festival will take place over two days on two consecutive weekends. STORM festival will be held at the impressive Xuhui Binjiang Green Space which sits riverside on the Huangpu.  The two nights of STORM will see over 30 DJs play on two separate stages until 11pm before they go on to play at after parties in specially selected Shanghai clubs. Tickets are limited so act quickly in order to secure your place. Advanced tickets go on sale on 1 November. Prices start at RMB 580 per day or RMB 980 to attend both days.
