Kazumi Sawada is head Chef at Kumoi, Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, is now offering fun group classes to learn Japanese cooking. The Michelin star chef will teach you how to make wasabi, futomaki, grilled black cod fish and fried rice with wagyu beef. Entry is just RMB 588 per person and you will receive hands-on experience, ingredients, use of kitchen equipment and utensils and you will also receive a certificate on completion. Groups are limited to between 4 to 8 people and begin on 26 October 2013 on the last Saturday of each month from 3pm to 5pm.
The Sofitel Hotel Guangzhou will be hosting the culinary charity event, Star Chefs And Art China this December. This charity event will showcase 18 internationally renowned chefs over the four-day event from 4 December to 7 December. The event will feature morning and afternoon cooking classes, degustation dinners and a battle of the chefs, which will raise funds for global flying hospitals.
