Curbing Policies
With the rise in pollution and traffic congestion, eight cities are announcing policies to curb the purchase of vehicles for private use. These restrictions may cut 400,000 units, 2% of total domestic sales, having an impact on China’s economic growth.
Securing a Taxi
Passengers can now secure a taxi faster by using Taximobil’s, Didi Dache app. The app allows people to bid for their taxi fair and how long they are willing to wait. Passengers can bid in increments of RMB 5, RMB 10 and RMB 20 as well as go back to adjust their offer. The app is available to drivers and passengers on iOS and android devices.

The extreme heat wave may be becoming a cause for concern. With record-breaking temperatures, the issue of water shortages, power supply worries and concerns for the fall harvest have arisen.
