Art Scene Warehouse gathers together disparate paintings and sculptures, also under an urban theme. Feng Dakang’s building paintings are a highlight: some of his structures merely lean precariously, while others, the detritus of destroyed neighbourhoods, float away on opaque skies. Also on show are: Du Xinjian’s mystical oil paintings where fish are the major deities; Huang Jie’s dream scenes seen through women’s-face-shaped holes; and Hu Ke’s sexy, bald girl ceramics.
