The Double Tree Hotel Hangzhou isn’t expected to open until 2014 but they are still doing their part for Global Week of Service (GWS) by starting a “creating traffic safety” campaign. This campaign has been organised by the hotel’s CARE committee members and hotel team members to help direct the vehicles, to encourage people to follow the traffic safety rules and remind people of traffic safety. The campaign will run from Friday 11 October
until Saturday 12 October at Jinsha Avenue and Haida South crossroads, Economical and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou.
 
The General Manager of The Westin Ningbo, William Yang, and staff recently visited local areas that were devastated after the recent typhoon. The area has been left with RMB 12.4 billion (2 billion US dollars) worth of damage. The staff of The Westin Ningbo visited the victims of the recent natural disaster and brought food from the hotel. This offering was greatly received by the victims.
