12 November DJ Markus Schulz

In M2’s first trance-rific night of the month, Miami-based German DJ Markus Schulz (currently ranked No 8 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 List) comes to town with the goal of transporting clubbers to the Balearic Isles for a night. Known for his moody, dark trance, Schulz is a proven favourite of Shanghai’s raver crowd and P.L.U.R. will be in full effect. Don’t forget your sunglasses!

13 November Cyberpunks

After a long absence, Riviera Events returns to the nightlife scene with a cyberpunk warehouse party on The Bund. Cyberpunk? “Marginalised, alienated loners living on the edge of society in a dystopian future impacted by rapid technological change, computerised information and body modification.” Oh, that clears things up; expect people dressed up as goths, punks, freaks and cosplay nerds.

19 November Yo Yo Ma

The man whose name is synonymous with the cello returns to Shanghai for a performance entitled Yo Yo Ma: The Bohemian. Alongside the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the virtuoso will perform pieces from Dvorak: Symphony No.8 in G major and Cello Concerto in B minor. Simply, this is an event not to be missed.

25 November Rocksgiving!

Here’s a great idea: spend Thanksgiving giving thanks by giving back and rocking out! In M2’s second huge night of the month, trance’s prodigal son returns!
