Dai Mouyu @ FQ Projects

“Moments” is the second solo show for 
Dai Mouyu at FQ Projects and will feature his latest needle-ink-pen on paper works. These pieces are all subtle gradations 
of grey from afar, but from up close, it’s hard not to be astonished by the details, with thousands of lines intricately woven together in oder to create layers of texture.

Liu Xiaodong @ Minsheng Art Museum

“Childhood Friends Getting Fat” is 
a retrospective solo exhibition of Liu Xiaodong’s career from 1984 to today, including more than one thousand photographs taken by the artists over this 30 year period, as well as several documentaries about Liu and his work, from both domestic and international filmmakers.

Zhou Siwei @ AIKE- DELLARCO

“A Round Studio” is multi-disciplinary artist, Zhou Siwei’s first solo exhibition in Shanghai and features recent paintings and installations. The Chongqing-born artist constructs his works using predetermined sets of colours, forms and sequences. Through a process of repetition and randomness, these acquire a new context.

“Impression Indonesia” @ LWH Gallery

An exhibition focusing on the exciting contemporary art of Indonesia gets underway at LWH Gallery this month, featuring works from Yogyakartan artists, Aidi Yupri and Yuli Kodo. Both are pre- occupied with issues facing Indonesia’s children, including education and environmental degradation.
