On Saturday 3 April, the young and trendy gathered together for the launch of C&A’s newly renovated flagship store on Huaihai Lu.

The Dutch fashion retailer's Huaihai Lu location had been under construction recently, and is now equipped with new fitting rooms, underwear and jeans areas and a range of limited edition fashion products only available at this store. 

To celebrate the grand opening, C&A held a small interactive fashion show with two models to introduce the latest spring/summer collection. During the event, three male and three female customers were hand-picked from the audience to choose their favourite pieces and come up with their own style.

One thing is for sure when you look at C&A’s spring lineup: this season legs will be bare again. The women’s collection is dominated by short, bright-coloured skirts and denim mini shorts. And for the boys, it’s all about checked shirts and mix-and-match prints.

The most popular colour this season? Purple -- and in every possible shade.
