New Eats: White truffles hit Napa

Autumn in Italy marks the start of white truffle season, and of course, Shanghai isn't being left out of this indulgence.

The RMB 42,000-per-kilo mushrooms are now being served up in a special promotion at Napa. The restaurant's chef, Shaun Anthony, has created three dishes showcasing white truffles in their purest form: a white truffle and porcini risotto, fettucine in truffled chardonnay veloute, and white truffle infused with soft poached duck egg.

For RMB 238 to 268 per dish, you can try the world's most bling-ing ingredient at Napa. The restaurant's white truffle promotion is on now until 15 November.
